Beaches in Alcudia
Alcudia sits at the head of the Bay of Alcudia — 11 km of uninterrupted white sand and some of the calmest, clearest water on the island.
🏖️ Playa de Alcudia
The main beach, stretching south from Port d'Alcúdia. Fine white sand, calm shallow water and excellent facilities including sunbeds, beach bars and water sports. The northern section near the port is busier; walk south for more space.
🏖️ Playa de Muro
Wider and less developed than Playa de Alcudia, with a natural dune system at its southern end (S'Albufera nature reserve). The water here is a spectacular turquoise — some of the clearest on the whole island. Great for families who want space.
⛵ Hidden Coves (by boat)
The coastline around Cap de Formentor hides dozens of small coves accessible only by boat. Take a day trip from Port d'Alcúdia to find crystal-clear water and complete privacy. Ask at the marina for departures.
